Black Crowes in 2005, what can you say? Eight years makes a lot of difference. In '05 they were like a whole new band, transforming their sound into a modern hippy jam band, stretching the boundaries of their set lists with amazing covers and jams. And let's remember they had Marc Ford, a great match with Rich Robinson. This is one of my favorite sets from the many shows in my archives from that year. From the Fillmore show on 8-9-05, the first set.
