Good ole Trade Mark Of Quality boot here ripped right from the vinyl you see above. Link. Interesting release, kind of a dark horse in the TMOQ canon, it was actually copied from the original bootleggers label called Rubber Dubber who had put it out in a 2-lp version. Because of the tracks being spread out over 2 records the Rubber Dubber version was sonically superior by far and is also very rare and hard to come by. The guys at TMOQ copied their boot and EQ'd the sound and squeezed it into one record unfortunately a bit to the sound's detriment. (The concert is basically a B+ grade audience recording.) This appears to be one of the first times this was done amongst the bootleggers but would set the precedent for a common practice of "bootleggers bootlegging other bootleggers." Supposedly the reason Brown Sugar fades out at the end is because the tapers were discovered and bolted for the exits although that's never been verified ha ha.There is a fascinating story of the showdown that took place about this release at this link.
