Navigating the world of Led Zeppelin 1973 US Tour bootlegs is an adventurous and at times spooky task. There are lots of different kinds and you never know what's around the next corner. Add to that the tour itself was definitely not without it's drama and unexpected events and surprises. This boot captures them on their first of three nights at Madison Square Garden and is a partial show that cuts in a minute or two into Rain Song and takes us through the end of the show. It's a first generation copy of the master used by the taper who unfortunately didn't know what he was doing. Classic example of using crappy equipment and winding up with a B+ at best when it has the potential to be A all the way as it sounds like he has great position. Set list is here. Link. Note this is not an official release and is suitable for trading.
