A Recommended Gem For GRAHAM PARKER fans...

This compilation CD released in 2000 is officially called "BBC Live 1977-1991" and in 17 great tracks touches on four different phases of GP's career. It starts with a few tunes from the Howlin' Wolf days, then spends a good deal of time with the Squeezing Out Sparks period in 1979. The next period covered which is  some of the best material in this collection is from 1982 and the Another Grey Area album. Finally 1991 is represented around the time of Struck By Lightning. Despite this sporadic gathering of time periods, the compilation works quite well and flows nicely. It is indeed a treat for GP fans and I highly recommend it.
