How does one even begin to pick a favorite year for touring by the Cure? Such a great band. 2008 would be high up on my list though. 3 hour shows, coming back for 3 encores at every show, with each encore usually being 5-6 songs. The band sounding at the top of their form as a tight four-man unit. No keyboard player but you'd certainly think there was one, the use of guitar effects that year was nothing short of brilliant.
