The name of the band was SUPERMACK! Long gone but not forgotten...

The only picture out there of the band Supermack. 

Although they were one of the top indie bands of 2001.

They were selected in the top 10 of over 600 entries in the DC101 Unsigned band contest. They were semifinalist in the 2001 Jaxx Battle of the Bands, out of 130 bands. They were the first band to ever hold 3 spots in the Mp3.com charts at the same time. But does anybody really know who Supermack is? This unique Washington DC band mixed heavy metal with rap and funk with cleverly written tunes and great beats. When they disbanded in 2004, they made a bunch of their songs available on their website for free. Almost ten years later, I continue to enjoy this great band whoever they were. They came, they saw, they conquered, then.....whoosh! Thank God for the recorded music. This compilation is called The Simplicated Supermack. Link and streaming below, enjoy!!
