A bit older, a bit wiser, but still songwriter extraordinaire.
The life and career of Tonio K, whose real name is Steve Krekorian is storied and varied. At once a successful new wave artist emerging out of the scene in 79-80, he ended a string of prolific albums in the late 80's to focus on penning songs for other artists. He got his well-deserved dues in 1993 when he co-penned one of the biggest hits of the year, Vanessa Williams "Love Is." This show I just found in the "holy box of cd-r boots" is a rare show from his first year and first album tour. Set list is here. Link. Note this is not an official release and is suitable for trading.

FUNKY WESTERN CIVILIZATION

The Holy Box Of CD-R Bootlegs that were recently uncovered after spending four years in storage. There's still quite a lot left to post and we'll keep this feature going. My plan at least for the time being is to have Tommy's Beach go through the summer and then keep the sister blog, Tommy's House Of Horrors open.
